Belize Cacao
One of the world's finest heirloom blends of 100% Mayan grown organic cacao. A rare treasure from deep within the Mayan jungles of Belize. This unique heirloom blend of Criollo-Trinitario cacao has an earthy and robust flavor profile with notes of caramel and pineapple. Grown by independent Mayan farmers in the southern Jungles of Belize these cacao nibs come from fertile soil with a rich chocolate producing history. This wonderful blend is the 6th cacao variety in the world to be given heirloom status by the Fine Cacao Association, making it one of the rarest and most sought after sources of cacao on Earth. Our Growers Association & Organic Quality Our Cacao Growers Association was established in 1984. The association was incorporated as a non-profit company in 1986 with its mission being to improve the social and economic standard of living of its members through competitive and diversified systems of production which incorporate sound ecological principles. Our cacao growers are certified organic by Soil Association and Fairtrade by Flo-Cert. The growers are additionally certified by the Canadian Organic Regime (COR). Our certification ensures that all of our activities meet international standards to ensure we contribute to the socio-cultural, economic and environmental development of the region. |
Wholesale Ceremonial Cacao Order Information
- Your cacao will be shipped with the utmost care from our processing facility in the U.S.
- Your cacao will come in bulk cacao paste chunks or nibs based on your order.
- Packaging the cacao in individual bags is possible for an extra fee. There is also a possibility of getting both bulk and pre-packaged. Please contact us if you have special order needs and we will send you a quote.
- If you'd like to try the cacao first, you can order a single 1lb bag as a trial (you will be glad you did). If you subsequently make a purchase of 10lbs or more, a discount for that original purchase will be taken into account. Sorry we are not able to offer free samples at this time.
- We are currently only shipping via direct order on this website to the continental US. If you would like to inquire about an international order, please contact us with as much detail as you can including how much cacao you'd like to purchase and an address you would like to ship to so we can give you a shipping estimate.
